Madison Cronk is a choreographer, instructor and dancer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Madison fell in-love with dance at the age of four when she took her first dance class at Doreen Bisset School of Dance. Madison has trained extensively in all disciplines such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical and Ballet. Madison has taken part in examinations such as A.D.A.P.T. and Cechetti as well as had the opportunity to compete in several local and national competitions.
Throughout Madison’s dance career she has trained at the School of Contemporary Dancers in their Professional Program, competed in Riesa, Germany on Team Canada for the IDO World Tap Championships and performed on Canada’s Got Talent. From 2013-2017, Madison was a dancer on the Winnipeg Blue Bomber Cheer Team and took on the role as Dance Team Captain in her final season. Throughout Madison’s time on the Winnipeg Blue Bomber Cheer Team, she had the opportunity to perform with artists such as Hedley, Dean Brody, Dallas Smith, One Republic and Alessia Cara at half-time shows with all cheerleaders within the Canadian Football League.
Currently, Madison is exploring her craft as a choreographer and loves to teach drop-ins throughout the city as well as deliver the competitive and lyrical competitive program at her home studio, Doreen Bisset School of Dance. Madison is recognized for encouraging her students to be artistically vulnerable and authentic within their movement. Madison strives to create inclusive teaching environments where she is able to pass on her passion of dance to others, fostering their love and appreciation for movement. Teaching others dance and putting her students dreams in the spotlight is a true passion of Madison’s.
Madison has been awarded choreography awards for the routines she puts on stage and acknowledged for her student’s commitment to the artistry of her work. Madison continues to study and explore her craft and is constantly looking for inspiration and opportunities to share her passion.
